Hello there! I’m a writer, translator, and editor (find my publications here) as well as an occasional freelance consultant based in Greater Boston.
From 2009-2024 I served as the founding editor of The Critical Flame, an online journal of criticism, literary nonfiction, and interviews. I also served previously as a board member of VIDA: Women in Literary Arts as well as Salamander Magazine, and serve in an advisory capacity to AGNI Magazine.
In 2010, I founded the U35 reading series, now run by Mass Poetry, to promote and support younger poets. In 2017, I helped organize and played the role of emcee for Greater Boston Writers Resist, a sold-out reading held at the Boston Public Library’s Rabb Hall.
In 2017 I was elected to serve a four-year term as Trustee of the Watertown Free Public Library, where I supported the elimination of overdue fines, a safe work environment and continued public access during the COVID pandemic, policies that support a more inclusive culture at the library, and the launch of a community bookmobile.
More recently, I co-founded Housing for All Watertown, a grassroots group dedicated to combatting the housing crisis and ensuring that every person can find a stable, safe, affordable home in our community.
My professional background includes book and magazine publishing, digital marketing, nonprofit marketing and fundraising, higher ed communications, impact storytelling, and municipal political campaign strategy. If you would like to talk to me about strategic consulting, feel free to reach out.
